I have been around all types of animals my entire life. I was a vet tech for a few years and am qualified to take care of any medication your pet may need. I have a 4 year old lab of my own that is very well behaved, so I can help with basic obedience while pet is in my care. Overall I love animals and look forward to getting to know yours!

Kaitlen has always been the best dog sitter and walker for us! My Aussie is people aggressive when in our home (he’s protective) and she’s always done so well with him!! He gets excited when she comes over! Our Weimaraner is lazy and easy, Kaitlen’s always made a point to snuggle with her for a little bit when she does drop in’s so she feels comforted! Kaitlen is our ONLY go to when we need help with the pups!
I have seen firsthand how much Kaitlen cares about animals. She is a loving dog owner herself who goes to great lengths to ensure he is well taken care of. She does thorough research into all food decisions, provides ample exercise opportunities, toys in the house for entertainment, and frequent trips to dog friendly restaurants for interaction with other people and dogs. She has also done an amazing job working with my cat (who is very skittish) on interacting with dogs. I now have no worries about leaving my cat alone with a dog, which is a testament to the time and effort Kaitlen put into working with the two animals. If I had to pick someone to watch an animal with me out of town I would pick Kaitlen every time.
I have known her her whole life and she has always loved all kinds of animals. She has always had cats and/or dogs as a pet. She is very loving. She has done a fantastic job training her dog. She is always getting compliments about how well behaved he is. She would be a wonderful pet sitter for anyone!

I do not have a fenced in yard, but I have a yard and live in a quiet neighborhood where I can take your dog on walks. There is also a dog park near by that has trails and a fenced in dog park. I have a dog of my own that is very friendly, he loves to play as well as sleep. I allow pets on the furniture if allowed by owners. There is always an abundance of treats to be given as rewards and toys laying around as well.

Breed does not matter to me! The things I need to know is the basics. What does your dog enjoy most? Do they have odd quirks or habits I should be aware of? Are they food or toy aggressive? Is there anything they are scared of, such as thunderstorms or loud noises? What is their eating schedule? Are they allowed treats? Do they require medication? Any allergies?
A typical day
There will be several walks around my local neighborhood. For occasions they stay with me on weekends, or days that I do not have school, walks will be had at the local dog park or around downtown. My dog loves going to the dog park and swimming every chance he gets, we would love to have your pet accompany us!

Availability
I am a full time graduate student at Auburn University as well as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. Tuesday and Thursday mornings are busier, but the rest of the week is very flexible.
