Working at shelters and speciality vet clinics has given me a unique insight into high stress, hard to deal with, and manic dogs. I've learned how to read distress and the canine behavior in general, and emergencies or high panic situations certainly don't phase me. I can administer most any medicine (Sub Q, or oral) and have over ten years veterinary technician experience. I have used Rover as my platform for over ten years. After taking a break with the arrival of my son, I am overjoyed to get back to what I love.. animals! I have two dogs myself, an Ibizan hound named Sedona and a German shorthair named Dunkin. I show AKC and do everything from obedience to dock diving and field trials with my own dogs. I am extremely active and believe having a healthy lifestyle is important. I'm an avid hiker, and runner. I also am an absolute dog lover, and they are my complete passion. My family just moved to Texas from Oregon, and I’m so excited to offer my services here and meet new people! I own my home in Bulverde, Texas with a secure fenced back yard. I do have a four year old so dogs boarded in my home will need to be kid friendly (he is respectful and never left unsupervised). I have watched and cared for many, many animals in my life, starting at a very young age.. Dogs are my passion. I would absolutely LOVE to meet you and your four legged friend(s), I assure you they will be in the upmost care. :) I send regular updates, contacting you on the phone daily, and do whatever I can to make you feel at ease. I am also a professional photographer and usually have my camera with me, so don’t be surprised if you get lots of neat photos during your stay! It’s also important to me that your home is well taken care of and things are found as you left them when you arrive back. I bring my own food unless specifically brought up otherwise, and am a clean person who doesn’t leave clutter or a mess. I understand the importance of wanting to rest and relax and get back into your routine after a vacation or trip, certainly not worrying about cleaning up after someone else. I also have no problem doing laundry, errands, or anything else that might be needed while you’re away.
