I have cared for dogs and cats on and off since I was about 12. I currently volunteer in the clinic, with the dogs and the cats at Homeward Pet Adoption Center in Woodinville, WA. I have experience with dogs and cats of all ages from young puppies to grey faced seniors. I spend a lot of time working with shy dogs from rough backgrounds, and have basic dog and cat medical experience. Including sub-dermal and sub-cutaneous injections, administering flea treatments and oral medications, and cleaning of surgery sites. I work with dogs of all sizes from 3lbs puppies to 130lbs giant breeds. I have the strength and skills to handle a large dog on leash for a walk as well as the experience to walk smaller more skittish dogs. I also have extended personal experience with exotic animals. (I owned a Hedgehog for 7.5 years, a Chinese Water Dragon for 3 years, a Garter Snake for 5 years, Mountain Horned Dragons for 5 years, and have experience with other various exotic creatures.)
