When I turned 18 one of the most exciting things I was looking forward to was becoming a volunteer dog walker at the local animal shelter. I started walking dogs Tuesday mornings before going to class. That beings said, I have experience with both trained dogs, dogs who are a little more difficult to walk, and a variety of breeds of all sizes. My family and I have a small dog of our own, a Bichon Poodle, Harley. Although, I love large breeds!! About two years ago, friends of mine started asking me to dog sit overnight for them. I have worked up to 10 days overnight dog sitting, on top of that being responsible for administering medication. I currently walk on a weekly basis.
