Pet care experience
I am a working professional in SLO who loves to care for pets in her spare time! I currently have two spunky cats of my own, Bowie and Nox, and had 9 wonderful years with a 100+ pound yellow lab named Ozzie. I have walked and sat dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes, from 2-pound kittens to 120 pound German Shepherds! I will do my best to ensure that your pets feel safe and secure with me in the home or holding their leash. I have a calm and gentle demeanor, and I'm fully aware of those warning signs from animals that tell you they need some space, or that something's not right. Administering medication and being aware and observant of any health issues present in your pets will always be my number one priority. I am available for limited weekday drop-ins and extended visits on the weekends. I truly love spending time with both dogs and cats and want to ensure as much enrichment and attention as possible while their doting owners are away.

Kailyn was great! She helped us out when we were in a last minute bind and followed our instruction perfectly. Sent us updates and photos and took great care of our pup! Would definitely call on her again!
Kailyn is very sweet and my dogs seemed comfortable upon first meeting. She reassured me my doggies would be fine. I don't leave them with others often, and she sent my photos of each on Check ins as well as let me know ehen she arrived and actually stayed longer with them on visits then required. I'm sure they enjoyed her company. Will definitely use Kailyn again for dog services.
This was my first time using Rover, and Kailyn made it easy to use and I didn’t have to worry the whole time I was gone! She did a great job of checking in on my animals, they were happy and healthy when I arrived home. I received pictures every time she stopped by and would definitely book her again for any future needs!
Kailyn was great! She came to stay with your two beagles semi last minute and took great care of them.

When I am in your home, I prioritize your animal’s safety as well as respect for your home and privacy. I strive to maintain your pets’ routines while I am with them, so I always pay close attention to your instructions and expectations.

I would love to know every medical quirk or condition of the dog, as well as any issues that you are watching out for (i.e. seizures, limps, fatigue, loss of appetite, etc.). I do not have any breed or age preferences.
A typical day
I love to take dogs on stimulating walks suited to their physical needs! I am happy to take your dog for long or short walks around your neighborhood or other recommended walking spots. I personally love taking small and medium sized dogs to the Bob Jones Trail. Apart from walks, I’m all about playtime at home and love engaging with your dog and their favorite toys!

I currently have a full-time hybrid job, so my weekday availability is limited. I work from home in SLO on Thursdays & Fridays and do not work weekends. Let’s figure out a schedule together!
