Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of dogs since I was about 12 years old. Never having a dog of my own, I took every opportunity to walk and care for my neighbors dogs back home. I love walking dogs, giving them love/attention, and I have lots of experience with long-term overnight pet care at the owners’ homes. It’s important to me that your pets are happy and healthy, and I pride myself on my organization and responsibility. I would be honored to care for your pets! :)

Kailey was great. She was easy to communicate with both to set up the reservation and while I was away. My dog enjoyed her time with Kailey and I received pictures regularly. My home was left in great shape and I wouldn't hesitate to use her again.
Rosie had a great time on her walk with Kailey! She was on time and gave her a great workout to get out some of her energy!

She is responsible, respectful, and timely and my pets are always happy and healthy when I return. She has done overnight care for up to a month at a time, staying with my dog and two cats. Not only are the pets happy, but she sends regular photos and updates, and the house is always spotless when I return!"

I am unable to care for dogs in my home (small, no-pets apartment), but I have experience and am comfortable with home visits and overnights. There are several parks in my vicinity, as well as the DU campus and quiet neighborhoods that are wonderful for dog-walking. I prioritize respecting your space and leaving your home cleaner than I found it!

I would love to know about how dogs are with kids/people/other dogs if I will be taking them out on walks or outings :) Additionally, if there are any particular needs or anxieties that your dog struggles with, I will make sure to cater what you and your pet are most comfortable with!
A typical day
I love to take dogs that are more social on walks around campus so they can enjoy all the attention from students walking around! For dogs that more appreciate their solitude, I love to take them on less-travelled routes or help them get their exercise near their home.

Availability
I have a couple months off to work before starting gradate school. I work part-time with a flexible position, so am can be available most days, especially mornings, but can be available the afternoons/evenings as well. I am happy to do one-time walks/visits but am also interested in setting up a longer term schedule!
