Pet care experience
I have grown up with dogs since I was 10. I absolutely love them! I’m observant and attentive to their needs and wants, and really enjoy getting to be outdoors with them. I’m reliable, trustworthy, friendly, and compassionate, and know when to put their needs above my own. I’m nurturing, patient, and fun, and know when it’s time to play and when it’s time to relax and snuggle.

Kaila was a wonderful dog sitter for my two little ones while I was out of town on vacation. Usually I am hesitant leaving my pups with people but not this time, it felt natural and my dogs absolutely loved her! I don’t normally write reviews but I had to for such a great sitter! I recommend her to everybody I know when they need someone to look after there animals.
Kaila is incredibly responsible, conscientious, and kind-hearted. She has lived with dogs and regularly walks and cares for them, and she is a future dog owner. I would wholeheartedly trust any pet of mine with Kaila, she treats them as lovingly as if they are her own :)

I have an unfenced yard in both the front and back (townhome / association) but I’m on the end unit so there is plenty of yard. I have fake hardwood floors throughout the whole house so dog hair clean up or accidents are easy. I live on the bottom level of this home so it’s easily accessible and has no stairs, basement, or attic. My neighborhood is filled with dogs and dog walkers so your pet would be in great company here!

A typical day
I love taking dogs on walks, exploring new places to walk like around lakes or near my home. I love walking Starring Lake, Purgatory Creek, and any of the 3 chain lakes (Isles, Calhoun, Harriet). We will play indoors and outdoors as well as explore some dog parks too.

Availability
I currently work from home two days a week, and my schedule is flexible on the weekends. Working from home Thursdays and Fridays allows me to have more freedom and flexibility with my schedule. My weekends are also flexible with my social plans. I used to walk my former roommate’s dog twice a day, feed him, let him be near me while I worked or had meetings on Zoom, and would treat him to the occasional pup cup!
