Pet care experience
Fur companions have always been a part of my life. Growing up my family has included all different sizes and breeds of dogs, cats, guinea pigs, snakes, birds, and others - making me very comfortable with handling different behaviors and personalities. I have an immense love for animals and enjoy being in their company as well as taking care of them. I have a lot of patience when handling animals and give them the attention and care they need. I've worked for an animal boarding company where we provided needed cleaning services of the kennels, facilitated play times, managed feeding schedules, administered medicine, and worked with timid, nervous, and sensitive dogs to help them feel more comfortable in their surroundings. If you give me the opportunity to work with your pets, I will not only make it worth your time but I will make it worth your pets' time and I will leave them feeling well taken care of and loved.

Kaila was a life saver for us when someone else cancelled last minute before our vacation. To came to meet our cat last minute and assured us she would tend to him while we were gone for a week. She did a great job of updating me daily and sending photos. It’s obvious she is a true animal lover. We will definitely be using her again! Thank you Kaila!
Kaila is just wonderful. She is incredibly experienced in handling dogs of all kinds and was so thoughtful and patient with my dog’s anxiety and shyness. My dog is usually very timid around new people, but I could tell she immediately felt as ease around Kaila during the initial meet up. Kaila is great about sending videos each day and checking in with regular updates.
Kaila did an amazing job taking care of my dog overnight and gave great updates with pictures and was very respectful of my apartment.
Kaila is wonderful. So kind, clearly loves dogs and knows what she’s doing. Benny had a great walk and we’d work with her again in a heartbeat!

Anything that you believe is important to know is considered important to me. The basic information I will use are feeding, walk, and any other daily schedules, medication or supplement requirements, commands (to ensure I keep consistency with them as they have in their normal days), what they are and are not allowed to do, and their enjoyments and dislikes. I invite any other details you want to provide.
A typical day
I base activities around each specific pet. Living near Boulder is truly a wonder as there are tons of trails where your pup and I can enjoy a run, hike, or mellow stroll. I also live on a 1.2 acre fenced in property, providing a mini dog park experience for your pups to enjoy. If preferred, I can also spend time relaxing and cuddling with your pet. If your pet enjoys any other activities, I am always happy to cater to their enjoyments - just let me know!

Availability
I work from home and have a flexible schedule. This allows me to follow your pets' typical schedule. I enjoy being active, so if your pet enjoys a good walk, hike, or run, I am happy to meet those needs. Otherwise I am just as happy relaxing with them and enjoying cuddle time.
