Pet care experience
I’m an experienced foster with multiple agencies in the Austin area and am familiar with caring for dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I’ve been a dog owner for my entire life, and currently have my rottie mix Rylie in my home. She’s very friendly and well socialized with other dogs (especially small dogs!) as long as your dog is friendly as well! I use Rover frequently for sitting my own dog, so I understand that communication, flexibility, and photos are so important when putting your pet’s care into someone else’s hands.

Nico had a wonderful time with Kaila and her pup. He was well looked after and also Kaila made sure to have a play date with another golden doodle. She sent me videos and updated me. So happy to have found a happy place for Nico here in Austin ☺️
It was our first time using Rover so we were a little nervous but it went so great!! Kaila kept me updated every day and sent photos and videos of my pup! She even took her to the park, I could tell my baby had a great time! I would definitely book again for next time!

I live in a home with a fenced outdoor area, and I leave the door open with a magnetic screen during the day while I’m home for easy access and sunbathing. I can easily crate your dog if needed as well. With the Texas heat I prefer park visits down the street in the early evening when it cools down a bit.

A typical day
Typical day is me working from home! My dog enjoys access to the backyard, we do a walk and then are typically in for the night. On weekends I do a mixture of dog friendly activities outside and around town. When the dogs are home alone, they aren’t left for extended hours.
