I grew up with two golden retrievers - walking, bathing, feeding, and loving them. They each have their own unique personalities, but that's what makes them special! Dogs are one of the greatest joys in my life and I want to make sure that your dog is safe and happy while you are away. I have a spacious apartment near a dog park and can walk or run with with dog depending on their fitness level. If you have a social dog in need of some romping, those two golden retrievers live five minutes away with a big yard perfect for playmates. I know how scary it can be leaving your dog, but I promise it will be a fun vacation for them too! I'll be sure to keep you updated every step of the way.

Kaija was incredible. She was so loving with my pup, Teddy, while I was out of town for the weekend. Kaija provided regular updates with pictures and, when my flight was delayed, she was super accommodating on pick up time with teddy. I cannot say enough positive things about Kaija. Kaija was wonderful with Fiona! The weather was foggy so she sent lots of cute pictures of them cuddled up on the couch. She was also very accommodating to our flight being delayed and us having to pick Fiona up a few hours later than planned. We'd definitely recommend Kaija and would like to use her again if possible.
I had a last minute trip and reached out to Kaija with very little notice to watch my 2 year old terrier, Kennedy. She responded so quickly I didn't even have time to make a back up plan and was AMAZING with my dog! Kennedy is typically timid when it comes to being left with new people and Kaija had no problem making her comfortable, sent me a picture within an hour to let me know she'd settled in, and kept me updated through the weekend that she was doing well! She was totally flexible with timing and Kennedy came back happy and absolutely exhausted. Kaija will 100% be my go-to sitter for any future trips. Peace of mind and a happy dog!
