My name is Kai and I love animals! I’ve owned a variety of animals throughout my life. I grew up with horses, cows, dogs, cats, chickens, and aquatic animals. I’m attending University of Utah to pursue a major in biology pre-med and a minor in Spanish. Cats and dogs have always been a big part of my life! I did 4-H throughout my childhood and showed my dog at the fair every year. I have a Great Pyrenees, but he lives back in Idaho on the ranch with my parents; he’s patrolling the property being a good boy. I live in an apartment with my roommate and her kitten. I can care for any breed of dog or cat—large or small. I’m experienced with medical care, feral cats, and I know a bit about training dogs. I’ve moved to Salt Lake from Idaho for college and would like to get more involved with animals as I miss my own very much. I also have experience in dealing with medical emergencies; as my own animals have had cases where I had to take them to the vet. I take COVID-19 seriously and make sure to social distance, frequently wash my hands, and I’m also fully vaccinated. My availability will always be up-to-date.
