I'm a hardcore dog lover without a pup of my own at the moment, looking to use my passion and experience for pet care. I grew up with dogs my entire life, and from a young age was responsible for caring for them. While I'm new to Rover, over the years I've dog sat for friends and families—and more recently, co-workers. (I've been dubbed the "dog aunt" by my colleagues). This has given me experience with a wide range of dogs: from little to big, hyper to mellow, puppies and seniors. I'm especially adept at handling dogs with anxiety, and have been trusted with pets who have never been left by their parents before. I'm an active person, and love taking the dogs I'm watching out for hikes and runs, as long as you give the OK. I'm committed to keeping your pet in their normal routine as much as possible—whether that means going to the dog park twice a day or just a few short walks and snuggles. Whatever the needs of your pup and their personality, I'm happy to adapt: I take instructions very seriously and would never put your pet in a situation where they would be dangerous or uncomfortable. While I work during the week, my schedule is fairly flexible, allowing me breaks during the day to pop home and check in. I'm completely free most weekends. As far as house sitting goes, I abide by the rule of leaving a place cleaner than when I got there, and am happy to comply with any house rules.
