Pet care experience
I love every dog that I meet! I have volunteered at the Idaho humane Society for over four years and I have loved every minute of my experiences there. I feel each animal has its own special personality, qualities and needs. I believe in positive reinforcement and kindness while training, playing or walking. My interaction with every dog is based on steady, positive energy and mindfulness. I believe in exuding the pack leader energy while conveying love and unity! Ever dog deserves to be loved and cared for no matter what the behavior issues. I love to help improve their quality of life while they are giving us the joy of their companionship. I am extremely trustworthy and I pride myself on integrity in all areas of my life. It will be my absolute pleasure to take care of your dog even for a brief time!

I have had others walk my dog for me....then I found out about Kaela and met her. The minute my golden retriever saw her it was uncanny how drawn in she appeared to be. I figured it's just the nature of the breed until we walked through the park together & it was blatantly obvious that Kaela has a unique way with animals of all kinds. They are drawn to her as if she is a part of their family. It's difficult to put into words how much it means to have found her for not only my dog but my cats also! She genuinely cares and greatly enjoys being surrounded by animals oftentimes putting them first. Kaela goes out of her way to help, she has been available odd times, holidays and hours. I cannot speak highly enough of her help in caring for my dog Ellie when time does not allow me to. She is wonderful!

I love all breeds and I would like to know about any allergies, behavior issues such as food guarding or leash aggression towards other dogs. I have seen so many dogs improve with patience & positive reinforcement I would love to help yours in any way!
A typical day
I prefer walking in familiar area first (current neighborhood) then as the dog is comfortable we can go to the foothills or the greenbelt! I believe social interaction & play are very important to all dogs so the dog park is always an option. We can play fetch or engage in animal enrichment activities to help stimulate their brains. (I am experienced with Primate enrichment at ZooBoise)
