Pet care experience
Hi There! In my own home, my roommate and I have 3 dogs and 3 cats. We have a fenced in backyard and two levels for the animals to roam. As far as boarding goes, we don't take in dogs often, but love the occasional guest! Since I was a kid, I've been accustomed to having pets. My own dog has lived with me for the last 10 years and she has taught me so much! I pet sit for friends when they need it, and past relationships have introduced me to many furry friends that I've gotten the pleasure of taking care of. Some have included special dietary needs, others have involved medication. I've lived on farms and helped out on the farms of others, as well as worked at a vet clinic as kennel staff. There isn't much that I am not prepared to handle in the sometimes messy world of pet care! :)
Reviews
Kae did great- And would recommend her. She sent pictures and updates while we were gone.
Kae Did an outstanding job house sitting our pets . She text us pictures of her and the animals playing together. If the animals could talk they would ask us are you home already ? They all were very relaxed and content like we never left. We will definitely ask Kae to take care of our fur babies again !!

When it comes to pet care, I like to have the rundown or schedule of your pet's typical day so that I can do my best to keep their routine and environment as normal as possible for them. If left to my own devices, I assume the routine of my own pets, which is: morning potty, breakfast, potty again, play, relax, afternoon potty, play, potty again, relax, late afternoon potty, dinner, potty again, play, relax, nighttime potty, sleep. Treats get thrown around in there as the day goes on.

Information Kae F. would like to know about your pet
It is important to know what you do and do not allow your pets to eat, play with, and do in general. I try to do my best to enforce all of the same rules as the owner and use the same commands. How you interact with your pets, whether there are specific mannerisms or words/phrases that you use that your animals understand. Anything that scares, surprises or upsets your pets is key information, as well as what makes them happy and excited. I love to know the best ways to comfort them as well, especially if you will be gone for more than one day.
A typical day
Depending on the area, I like walk dogs on routes that they are familiar with until I get to know them better. I am used to pulling and long pauses to sniff, so if your dog isn't trained at walking that is okay as long as they aren't aggressive towards other dogs.

Availability
I work fulltime, 8am - 5pm in Oskaloosa, so please keep in mind that if you are more than 30 minutes away from Osky that there is a good chance I will not be able to run by for a potty break in the middle of the day. I do have clients whose dogs are completely fine until I get back to them right after work, but if you know your dog does not have that large/strong of a bladder or is prone to UTI's then please take this into consideration.
