I love to work with dogs, and with their people! Basic training and commands are part of what I love to do with dogs, as well as enrichment and exercise. I am very honest and straightforward with the people I work with, so you'll always know what's going wrong...and what's going right. There's no poop I won't scoop and no dog too small to take care of. Have a cat, too? Horse? Ducks? I'm not afraid of taking on several pairs of feet to care for while we're at it. I'm currently practicing with my own four-legged fellas on training, especially the basics service dogs require to pass the basic national tests. What I like to know about a dog before a visit is known or suspected allergies; known or suspected triggers (activities, objects, or people/animals that tend to make the dog perform unwanted or aggressive behaviors); and where the dog needs to or should be cared for/walked at or in.
A typical day
Walks include sidewalks in the local neighbor, if available, dog parks and other parks that are dog friendly (all of this per owner approval of course). Car rides (short trips of course) are fine, and if you need drop off and pick up from groomers and veterinarians, I'm happy to assist.
