Hello, my name is Kade and I take care of animals because being around their unconditional love makes me feel happy and fulfilled. While I don’t currently have dogs in my own household, I volunteer at the pet shelter and have been pet sitting, training and grooming dogs for years. I’ve had seven dogs over the course of my life so I bring with me a wealth of experience caring for all types of pups! Canine communication is a big interest of mine. I am always eager to learn and improve the way I understand and interact with critters. I do a lot of independent research on canine behavior, training, and health so that I can properly interpret your dog’s body language and vocal cues. I'm not at all perturbed by dogs that are shy, nervous, excited, territorial or aggressive. I understand different pups have different experiences and needs. People describe me as empathetic, compassionate and thorough, and I am extremely perceptive to the feelings of others, including animals. I’m short and soft spoken, so pets that are shy or anxious tend to feel comforted by my calm, but assertive demeanor. I am open to all types of dog breeds and would love to care for other animals on Rover too, including cats, rats, mice, rabbits, gerbils, guinea pigs, chinchillas, ferrets, lizards, snakes, spiders and more! I appreciate the stoicism of snakes as much as the peppiness of parrots and will easily adapt my caring style for your pet’s individual needs.
