Pet care experience
Hey there! I grew up with all kinds of animals (dogs, cats, rabbits, chickens), and admittedly dogs are my favorites. I have a 9 year old Lab named Brady who I raised and trained since he was 9 weeks old. Honestly the best stress buster ever. I will treat your pups like my own and make sure they're cared for, comfortable, having fun and relaxing. There's nothing worse than traveling or being busy and worrying about what's going on with them. I'll send daily updates/pics unless otherwise requested! I previously worked for the Rover HQ here in Spokane, so I'm very aware of all things Rover and how things work. /// DROP INS /// I'm available Mondays and Tuesdays from 8AM-12PM and 3PM-7:30PM. I do have a 2 year old daughter who will be with me so if that is an issue, we will not be a fit! However, I am very cautious and aware of children and dogs. I do not let her just approach, I keep her calm, have her hold her hand out and let them come to her. After that, I'm always present and watching every interaction. Communication is everything, so I'll always let you know if there's anything that will take me away from them in those moments. And please let me know if there's anything that I need to know, routines, meds, triggers, etc.

I've known Kacie for 10 years and she's someone who definitely loves dogs! I have 2, Spaghetti and Gir, who she has occasionally dog sits for. My littles aren't so fond of fetch, but it doesn't stop her from engaging with them, giving belly rubs and ear scratches. She's always followed any instructions I've provided for care, and I know my dogs are with family when they're with her.

I'd like to know if they've ever been aggressive, simply so I'm aware in case it does occur. We all have bad days - dogs included! Any special dietary restrictions, allergies, etc. What are absolute no-nos for you when it comes to the rules with your dog? Is there a favorite toy? And have they had their rabies vaccination? How do they do with other dogs? Children? Give me the 4-1-1!
A typical day
We can definitely make FETCH happen (please get this joke)! Feeding your pups and extra ear scratches, and letting them take a break in a yard or for a short walk (I'm happy to do a very short walk for drop ins, but do not do full walks). I'll also happily send pictures or videos so you can see your pups are safe and happy.

Availability
I work full-time which is why Mon/Tues is my only available days. If I have a regular client who needs further help, I'm willing to talk and we can see if other days and times will work, but I do work until 5pm on the other days.
