Large fenced yard! Dog park trips!

Pet care experience

*Please realize that I have 2 large dogs in my home. If your dog does not get along with other dogs, find someone without dogs to book with. Thank you for your consideration.* ***Covid 19 considerations: Please let me know if you are an at-risk person for the virus, I can make accomodations to make the drop-off and pick-up of your fur baby safe for you. Consider adding a bath to your pet's stay so they aren't carrying anything from my home to yours :) Accepting essential worker bookings. I have a home with a large fenced yard, and my giant fur babies Kaiser and Stella love it! The fence is a 4ft tall fence, so if your dog is an escape artist, let me know to keep a closer eye on them or walk them on a leash. Along with the time my dog spends out in the fenced yard, we usually go to the dog park for about an hour if it's not too miserably hot/cold out. Your dog must be reasonably good with small caged animals, as I have two rabbits. They have their own room, so it's not a huge issue usually, but I don't need a hole in my wall or door from them trying to get to them. I allow un-neutered males if they are under 1 year, but my male dog doesn't usually get along with older un-neutered males. I have no breed restrictions, I just ask that they're reasonably house broken and have a crate if they're likely to chew things. I prefer that you bringing your fur baby by to check out my house, see if they get along with my dog, and see if they're ok with the rabbits. I understand sometimes this is not an option due to my night shift schedule and/or last minute bookings, but I do attempt to have a meet and greet whenever possible. I work full-time night shifts as an EMT normally, so I'm free 3-4 days per week due to 12 hr shifts. (However, currently I do not return to work until June 1st. I am off work due to just coming off active duty orders.) So for a few weeks, my schedule is wide open! After June 1st, I will dog-sit during the nights I work if your dog is low energy, good when left alone, can hold their bladder for 12hrs, or are puppy-pad trained. My large dogs do fine with it, but other dogs might not. I work 7pm-7am, so it's when they would usually be sleeping anyways. I use a doggy camera to keep an eye on them and plan to make it accessible to doggy parents once I get it set up for that. I let Kaiser and Stella out as soon as they get done licking me to death when I get home, and they play inside and outside of the house. I offer bath options. Prices start at $15, dependent on breed and size. I have furminators for dogs who require brush-outs during their visit. I can also clip or grind your dog's nails during their stay. Availability varies. Dependant on my work schedule and number of furry friends I'll be watching at the time. I will cat-sit if your cat doesn't claw up furniture and is good with large dogs. I would also be open to small-animal sitting. My dogs love cats and small animals, but most are overwhelmed with them. Please contact me with any questions! I'm pretty flexible, and take long-term boarding requests after a short-term boarding request has been successfully completed without any major hiccups!

Super intuitive with Murphy n Milo. Loved they had a fenced yard. Excellent care. Always felt informed. Goes above and beyond what is expected. Will definitely schedule again when needed. Thank you Kaci. You were awesome!!!

Our plans to watch our dog fell through last minute, but Kaci was able to take care of our dog a few hours before we need to go to the game. She is a live saver! She gave us a full update when we picked our dog up. Kaci even said our dog slept next to her most of the time, which was very sweet.

Kaci was an excellent sitter! She has a rambunctious and kind malamute-husky mix that was very welcoming to other dogs and I think helped my Lily feel right at home. Kaci took the whole gang (she was sitting another dog in addition to mine, which I thought was great! More the merrier, right?) to the park and from the pictures, it looks like they had a great time. She also has a great backyard that's perfect for some fetch. Definitely will be using Kaci for Lily again!

Information Kaci H. would like to know about your pet

-What's their favorite treat? (My male dog only likes soft treats and hard bone chews) -Any spots they don't like being touched? -Things they're scared of (ex: Kaiser will barrel over the couch if you get the vacuum out). -Are they an escape artist? (Stella likes to hop over the back fence to say hi to the neighbor dog ?.. we're working on it.. lol!) -Do they have a habit of chewing all things, or specific things? (my dog kills remotes, paper products, and flip-flops if he feels like he didn't get enough attention) -Do they have any allergies? -Do they get along with other dogs? Are there any kinds of dogs they don't get along with? (Kaiser has issues with un-neutered dogs over 1yr old) -Are they allowed table food? -Do they need to be de-shed during their stay to keep their coat healthy? How often?

A typical day

We go to the Indian Hills and Twin Lakes dog parks, and fur babies ride in the car with me whenever possible.
