Pet care experience
The Rowdy Acres Farm family keeps on growing and we love visitors! We have a fenced-in dog run area available for plenty of safe space to run, but the goats donkeys and ducks will likely visit with them from the other side of the fence. We have a small guest house for our canine visitors. It's nothing fancy, but it's warm and cozy and they get their own space. I do not require the use of crates unless requested or if it becomes necessary due to behavior concerns. Pups are welcome to settle into their space where they feel most comfortable at night. I have an established small group of regular doggy daycare visitors M-Th and additionally provide boarding all week long. I aim to provide a perfect opportunity for a relaxed, safe, family farm experience for your pets.

Pups typically go in and out of the guest house into the fenced yard throughout the day as they choose, weather-permitting. On cold days I provide lots of snuggles inside and on hot days the kiddie pool is set up and we have air conditioning breaks. We have a fantastic vet 5 miles away and are 30 minutes from an emergency vet, if ever needed. We're on a road with only 1 other house on the whole mile so there is minimal traffic. M-Th during doggy daycare hours I do not leave the property. After hours or over the weekends if there are pets boarding, I occasionally need to run an errand, but have cameras in the guest house and routinely check in on our visitors if I have to run out for any reason.

If your dog may not mix well with my other animals and will need to keep their distance, that's just fine, but I will need to know ahead of time if there is a chance we'd need to keep them separate. Please let me know about meds, routine, etc. I do require proof of current rabies, distemper, and bordatella vaccines for all of our visitors.
A typical day
I have time for tummy rubs, lazing around, throwing tennis balls, exploring, or anything else that keeps your pets busy. Pups that come home from our place are usually ready for bed after a long day of playing and exploring.

I am home full time and can offer all the oversight needed. If your pup (or feline friend) is on a routine, we can work with that. I can accommodate meds, unique diets, anxious babes, or anything else that may come up. I care for all our animals at the farm, as well as mowing, gardening, and lots of other projects around the house so I'm always nearby.
