Doing this in your request message to me helps provide a clearer picture of what your needs are & gives me an opportunity to submit a more accurate estimate to you as well as puts the agreement "in writing" for both our sakes. ?? ** I absolutely love hearing how sweet and caring your pets are! However I will need information on the request to know whether it is a good fit for all of us! **❤️? - Any specific medical needs of course or conditions that will effect their care (or to watch for)... - Their usual routine... Truly! If they have one even if it's not mine I do like to try to stick to it! - Any prior positive or negative experiences with pet care -- I encourage you to give examples of what helps/what you're looking for & what isn't a good fit! - Your expectations/or at least your *ideal* situation while you're away (some would like me around as close to the entire 24/7 as possible; some are used to having people in and out/away for the day - everyone's needs are different! Let me know yours!) **ANY safety/escapee concerns or previous allergies; recent incidents that may be important! You can never give me too much information!!** In addition to outlining the agreed upon fees for the stay, it helps to have a clear picture of the expectations for each side and any additional requests/needs your family may have... (ex: monthly grooming appointment falls in the stay period/transportation to & from needed; standing playdate with neighbors dogs; mail/paper in; garbages out; etcetera: most of which I consider standard but some prefer to have them done and some, not - others may have special/specific needs or requests!) **EXCEPTIONS in cases of emergency!! PLEASE CONTACT ME IF EMERGENCY SITTING/Check In Care is URGENTLY NEEDED!!** I believe it is the best way for all parties involved to get a feel if it's a fit that works (or possibly doesn't)! In the past I've found it is much more comfortable for me to provide the best care; as well as you to be more at ease with me in your home if we all have an opportunity to spend some time together. If there are any concerns, I am more than happy to meet in a public space prior (after all - I respect that you are just getting to know me!) for those who would prefer that to just giving their home information first. ----------------------------------------- As with most sitters, I'd expect any and *all pertinent* behavioral/ nutritional/ medical/ exercise needs & expectations be detailed & provided in writing; or btwn msgs so that I have an opportunity to make note of them - as they are all important to me!! [For example; "Please do not walk or let out ____ on Tues 9-11am as the meter reader or mail person comes & _____ does not allow them on property.] Of course in case of emergency; your contact information, as well as a local emergency contact if available. Your preference for the nearest emergency veterinary care/clinic & if you are comfortable allowing me to use my judgement on situations I can handle, or require care past my level of training - should be discussed. There are also general guidelines in a very worst case scenario guided by Rover's 24 hr Emergency Call Center/Response system. I also like a quick "walk-through" or better yet? An actual observation of a typical Morning/Evening routine, so that I can provide as close a proximal experience for your pet(s)/animals as is possible. I am comfortable with a variety of Medical Care/Needs; Medication Management & many treatments as well as a vast understanding of different animal needs; as well as 'typical breed characteristics' but more importantly, gaining an understanding of general temperament as well as traits, specific to your individual or crew. Though every pet is unique - you know them best and I hope can help me to provide the best experience for all by letting me know their own quirks, needs, dislikes and most importantly - likes/enjoyed activities!

As well as low key park trail walks; playing ball/fetch, preparing Kong Toys filled with treats, relaxing with, cuddling, comforting & enjoying getting to know each of your furry kiddos! What do you usually do with your pets!? Do they enjoy squirrel watching out the window? Cuddling up on the couch & snoozing? Watching Big Bang Theory? Do they prefer a music type or TV station on when I need to run out for errands or are they just as content with quiet &/or a frozen Kong? What have they shown you they prefer/enjoy most!? So if they're used to/need daily runs - I just physically am unable to provide that for them!) I am perfectly happy sharing couches/beds ... Blankets/Covers (& yes, even my pillows!) with furry charges who are most comfortable/used to this [as well as enforcing it when NOT allowed in the home!]. For overnights, I am perfectly comfortable (& often will just stay) on the couch; if that's where your crew normally likes to sleep & there's room for a human...? [Although, I appreciate and will take to a bed if it is needed; I've learned over the years that actually -- sleeping as a group & as I'm usually up late - is truly a bonding activity. I find that they acclimate & trust much more quickly the more time is spent together including night time/sleep. So I am comfortable no matter the situation & will acclimate/pack as needed!] Let's bond during their favorite activities Whether out on a walk, trip to a secluded beach to play in the water (during the summer - on leash of course!); or relaxing together in the home - reading/being read to, napping, listening to music, watching their favorite new streaming series....
