Pet care experience
I grew up in a pet loving home with 5 cats and 2 dogs. I’ve been a pet owner my entire adult life until my son was born. I also used to Volunteer for the Rescue house and take care of cats, clean their kennels and assist with getting them adopted. Before my son was born I used to Nanny and house/pet sit quite a bit. My 13 year old son and I are dog lovers and are soon wanting to get a dog of our own, however, I want him to be very ready for the responsibility. Therefore, I’ve decided to open up my home to care for your furry family members and get some of that loving companionship in our home, teaching my son what it takes to care for a pet while also making some extra money. I am a very active person who loves taking long walks. I enjoy dog parks/beaches, and dog friendly hikes if you allow it. My complex is dog friendly, it’s gated and has a courtyard. I’m an events manager so I’m a great communicator who is also detail oriented and nurturing so I know how to care for people and animals very well. I have a flexible schedule but when I work I mostly work evenings so I’m available most days to care and walk your dog(s). Jyothi is the best! We were so lucky to find such a great sitter! It was our first time leaving Eli with a sitter and we were very nervous and scared. After meeting with Jyothi she took all that away and made us feel at ease. Jyothi is very interactive with Eli, takes her on walks and spends a lot of time with her, giving her all the love and attention. Can’t have asked for a better sitter! Jyothi and Sequoia took excellent care of our Sammy boy. We appreciate the fact that Jyothi took the time to set up a meet & greet before having us book with her. We do whatever the dog likes to do. If it’s okay fetch, go on hikes or just get lots of snuggles we provide the most enjoyable experience for your pet during their stay in our home.

I just need to know what your digs needs are and I can accommodate most things. Many dogs that I care for aren’t good with other dogs which is why I only take 1 dog at a time unless they are siblings.
A typical day
We play with the pups however they enjoy. We have chew toys, stuffies, balls etc. If the dogs are able we enjoy going on long walks or hikes or just playing fetch at a local park.

Availability
I currently work part-time so I have a lot of flexibility to care for your pup. I enjoy taking long walks with dogs if they are able but for the older dogs a short stroll around the block is fine too. 🐶
