I have had a dog my whole life. Growing up, we had many different types of dogs, from Yorkies to German Shepherds. We currently have an adorable CockaPoo, named Cookie. He is 6 years old, incredibly friendly and enjoys the company. I am typically home during the day as I work from home most days. We go to the neighborhood grassy, dog walking area which is just 3 blocks away (no fence and very few dogs). Our dog-friendly building also has a large community balcony where we often just hang out for fresh air. There is a separate bedroom/bathroom area for the dogs to rest at night. We have cool days and calm nights. Cookie is a VERY mellow dog. He rarely barks. His typical day includes quiet walks, short naps, and lots of cuddling. He is inquisitive about other dogs but doesn't "run with the pack". He is a loner and prefers to be around dogs with a similar temperament. He isn't much for rough play and will typically isolate himself in those situations. He warms up easily and enjoys gentle rubbing, brushing, and cuddling. He walks easily with out a leash and listens on command. Overall, he is a very easy dog that stays under the radar unless you'd like the company.
