Pet care experience
I am currently 27 years old and am a substitute teacher through the Substitute Teacher Service. I am hoping to find a contracted teaching position. I graduated from Millersville's Dual Program for Special Education and Early Childhood Education in 2018. While I currently don't have any pets, I used to have 2 Jack Russel Terriers, Jack and Jill. Growing up, I also had a Dwarf Rabbit named Thumper who I took care of for 10 years until he died. I have previously dog sat for relatives a few times. I have also took care of a family friend's cats and turtle for a week. I love animals and I love helping others out! I would love to learn more information about what you're looking for! While I am currently unable to board any pets in my home, I will always try and following any instructions given. I like to make sure the pets are taken care of, how they are used to! Some pets already feel anxious or unsure with someone new, so sticking to their routine as best as possible is important!

It is important to know what their typical schedule is like. Do they need any medications or any special treatments? It is also important to know if they have any uniqueness they may have: are they afraid of storms? Will they take off after other animals? Do they have anxiety? Etc.
A typical day
As I am watching pets in your home, I would love to know any places your pets like to visit. Are there any parks in the area? What activities do they enjoy? Do they play fetch? Other games! I love getting to know each pet and the activites they like.

Availability
I am currently substituting in various local school districts, so my schedule is very flexible! A typical school day would be about 8-4, give or take. But since I am able to make my own schedule, I can work less days per week. I also work part-time or as needed at Beulah's Candyland, where I can also create my own schedule. With that, I can also step out to take acre of pets in the middle of the day, if needed. I am currently blessed with that flexibility as I look for something more permeant.
