I believe dogs should treated with the dignity and respect I would to any of my friends. Although some may disagree, I have been around enough dogs to realize that they have feelings and emotions just like we do. Although they cannot grasp many of the complex thoughts that we can, they can read our emotions and body language just as we can theirs. A bond with with a dog is symbiotic.
