Pet care experience
I'm an animal lover whose busy work schedule makes it difficult for me to have my own four-legged friend. I joined Rover as a way to not only help others but to also find a way to still have that companionship.

Justin approved our very last minute request over the holidays after our trip got extended and our other sitter no longer had availability. He asked great questions about information related to our cat’s care that I hadn’t even considered, which showed me that he was taking his job seriously and had a lot of experience with kitties. He was thorough with our initial communication, so he didn’t need to “bother” us while we were enjoying our trip. I appreciated that so much. Justin also made sure that our very shy kitty existed and sent us a funny picture where only his eye was peaking through a small hole to prove it. We will definitely be requesting Justin the next time we travel. He was awesome.
Justin was great with my cat. He showed up on time and communicated all his tasks clearly. Would recommend!

A typical day
With my visits, you can expect your dogs to get tons of exercise as I'm available for runs, walks and hikes. I'm also patient with dogs who like to go at their own pace.

Availability
I've had a side gig as a dog walker for more than five years now, but my experience with animals spans much longer than that. In addition to my family dog, Juneau, who is pictured above, I've volunteered at animal shelters and helped out by puppy-sitting for friends. I have experience walking, feeding and appreciating dogs and cats of all sizes. My friends joke around that I'm a dog whisperer. I love cats, as well, and I'm available for all your cat-care needs.
