Pet care experience
Dog sitting and walking have been hobbies of mine since I can remember. Growing up, my family always had a dog (and sometimes three!). Taking care of pups has become an enjoyable way for me to help out other dog lovers, while also making sure the dogs I'm taking care of have fun as well! I'm a strong believer in positive reinforcement for a pup. I'm the kind of person that if anything goes wrong (i.e. an accident in the house) I'll look at the pup and say it's alright because we all know the look they give when they know they did something wrong. Dog boarding and walking are very easy for me as I work a schedule with short shifts and plenty of time for walks in between. An extra skill I have is the experience of administering any pills if pups need medication. I know your pup will have a great experience either staying, or hanging out with me, as I take so much joy in taking care of them.

My two big dogs loved staying with Justin. His space is perfect for the pups to play and lounge around. Justin has a super friendly approach to working with / handling dogs, and handled my high-energy dogs with grace :) He even walked them for 20 minutes during Tampa's monsoon season - I highly recommend Justin.
Justin is an extremely attentive walker for my 80lb chocolate lab. We gave him very specific instructions regarding how our rescue pup acts in certain situations and what types of dogs to avoid. He followed them perfectly and Barkley had no issues or incidents on any of the walks. I was pleasantly surprised that he continued this trend even during the Grand Prix weekend where there were even more dogs and crowded events happening next to our apt downtown. I can’t believe we ever used doggy daycare before this. I will continue to trust and use Justin for all future walks/sittings with my dog.
Mollie seemed to have an awesome time staying with Justin! He treated her like one of his own. She got to go out and about and got plenty of exercise, which she loves! He kept me updated with pics and messages. We will definitely choose Justin again!
I had an awesome first experience with Rover and Justin. He was very easy to work with, great communication and great with my dog. Very nice guy and I would highly recommend him. I will definitely book with him again.

When boarding a dog I haven't met I like to know how high energy they are (how often they'd enjoy playtime) and how often they normally get walked. I tend to take all dogs on walks every 2 hours or so but each pup is different! I also would prefer knowing ahead of time whether a dog is crate trained, whether they prefer to sleep in their crate, and whether they like the attention of other dogs. I don't have any other dogs but whether it be at the park or just on a normal walk, you're bound to run into some other pups.
A typical day
When boarding pups I love to take them on walks around the area. This includes the three parks within walking distance. In addition (and if time allows) I like taking them to a local dog park where they can run around with lots of new friends. For longer stays dogs get treated to at least one trip to Fort De Soto Dog beach. There they can feel free to run around, go for a swim, or just hangout under the umbrella and relax!
