I have been a dog sitter, walker, and drop-in visitor for friends and family for many years. My previous military lifestyle prevented me from having my own pup, so I always jumped at the chance to take care of and entertain someone else's floof. I was the go-to friend to dogsit when my friends wanted to travel, but could not take their dog. I grew up with a doberman/coonhound mix and a yellow lab, sharing dog caretaking responsibilities with my sister. I am skilled in managing and walking big dogs and can run with dogs who need a lot of exercise. My primary philosophy with dogs is patience. Especially when meeting, I respect the need for a dog to take time to warm up to me and trust me enough to let me pet, walk, brush, crate, play with, and feed them. Their needs come first, as it is my responsibility to ensure their proper care while you are away.
