As a forever animal lover and current Equine Sciences student at Colorado State University, I am so excited to be able to be a Rover caretaker both at and away from home! While house-sitting, I ensure that your pet is cared for the same way as if you had never left, and I love them as if they were my own. Whether you have a dog that needs constant interaction and activity, or one that prefers sunbathing in front of the TV, I enjoy every animal's company. I was raised in an animal loving home and have had the opportunity to care for countless pets, most of which were dogs. I have solid experience volunteering at an animal shelter, where I was mainly walking and socializing both dogs and cats. I was fortunate enough to attend a training and behavioral education session led by a local renowned dog trainer and learned how to better handle bigger and more aggressive dogs. Outside of my shelter experience, I have had the pleasure of walking my neighbors' dogs and spending time with their animals. I can't wait to do what I love with Rover! These aspects make me an accomodating Rover sitter for the most energetic (or not!) of dogs. I do not own any pets because I am constantly travelling in and out of California for school, so I know that Rover will fill in that missing space for me. My class and work schedules allow me to be very flexible and give most of my attention during the day to my clients' pets, as well as spend the night easily during longer bookings. Your pet's comfort and safety come first! Since I am only able to house sit for now, I am happy to incorporate the pet's daily routine into my own. I am very flexible in that I can accomodate pets that prefer varying levels of activity and social interaction. (I also have extensive experience caring for cats, hamsters / guinea pigs, fish, rabbits, and chickens!)
