Hello all! Just a simple, mild-mannered dog lover living in a place not nearly as dog friendly, which is the only reason I dont have a pooch of my own. But I simply love them and always have. I have an indescribable rapport with dogs and have yet to meet one with whom I couldnt snuggle. Allowing me to sit for you would not only solve a pesky problem for you, but, quite frankly, give a dog-less girl an opportunity to shower her affections on one (or more!..multiples are not a problem...cats also welcome!). I look forward to working with you! Why I love dog sitting I have definitely been a dog lover at least from the time that I attended a workshop on rescue dogs as a little girl. Before that time, I was, as many small children are, very much afraid of dogs, especially the large, jumping ones. The workshop on how to approach, care for, and introduce yourself to a dog with a history of abuse and neglect taught me to recognize their innate protective responses and to not fear them but help them to be at ease. We were not allowed to have pets growing up at home and now the apartment I live in does not permit them, but I have been blessed to be able to sit and care for many pet friends over the years and look forward to the day I might be able to open my home to a rescue.
