Have fun with your dog in stay/care

Pet care experience

I used to have my own dog for 10 years. It is a brown Pomeranian. I walked her every 3 times for potty breaks and played with her by running, catching balls, giving her belly rubs. I will keep her clean though sometimes it sheds. I will treat your dog as my own pet as I understand every dog owner to see their pet well treated with timely balanced meals, potty breaks and being kept clean. I have a habit of walking after every of my meals. I am open to small and medium sized dogs and I will just look after one dog per time, except high peak holiday season(1~2 dogs during holidays). What Karen would like to know about your pet In preparation for our meet and greet I'll cover some of the following: How does your dog get along with other people and dogs? How does he/she adapt to new environments? Any special needs? Any aggressive tendencies? Any medical needs, taking medicine, allergies, foods to avoid? After you book with me, I will ask that you complete a detailed pet questionnaire that will ask questions about your pups routine, specific food requirements, any commands/words you use that I can reinforce, etc. You can find the greet n meet questionnaire here (https://forms.gle/eYUyUFvc5cUEwypm6) Great news is that I got certified by Udemy for the course 'Dog CPR, First Aid + Safety for Pet Pros + Dedicated Owners', yay! I will continue self education as well as real practice to improve my canine knowledge to serve my clients better:-)

My puppy is 8 months old and is energetic. I knew it would be more difficult than sitting an adult dog. I chose Jun because I saw all the pictures of certificates she completed and also I assumed she is experienced because she charges a lot (2-3x the price of others). However, it was pretty apparent on meeting Jun that she is not very experienced with dogs. But I left Charcoal anyway hoping I’m wrong. In a few hours mid-afternoon, she texted that Charcoal is being naughty and ate her lipstick. I cancelled my plans immediately came back to pick him up. I apologized for his behavior and the lipstick and came home. When I got home I was surprised his kibbles bag was untouched. Charcoal was clearly hungry when I gave the food to him. In summary, I don’t blame Jun but Jun is an average dog sitter charging incredibly premium price $170+

Our family deeply appreciates the way Karen watches over our fur baby. She takes our boy for walks, trains him daily, plays plenty of fetch (his favorite), and gives him lots of hugs and kisses. We have exclusively used Karen as our sitter for the last several years. It is such a relief to be able to leave our son with someone we fully trust. When we drop him off, he happily wags his tail when he sees her and goes straight into her arms. We love getting picture and video updates from Karen which show us the fun he is having. It is a pleasure to work with Karen. Five stars plus.

Thank you, Karen, for yet another great sleepover stay for little Charlie. Your place is his home away from home where he is taken care of, cozy, and continues to socialize and make doggy friends. The photos you share while we are away make us smile and bring us comfort knowing he is having a great time. Thanks again for all that you do. : )

Karen is a fantastic sitter! When the weather was really warm, she played plenty of games of fetch with Tobi in her air conditioned house, utilized interactive feeding puzzles, and trained him in a variety of commands. She also walked him in the early morning and early night when the weather was cooler. Tobi loves staying with Karen. He is a shy dog but when we drop off to Karen's house, his tail starts wagging. It is such a relief to my entire family to leave him in capable hands that we trust.

I am happy to talk with you on the phone and arrange a meet and greet. I reside in Mountain View with my husband with no children. I have been watching pups full time for 4 years--and part-time prior to that--and consider it my dream job! I absolutely LOVE this job and feel so lucky to be able to spend my days with dogs. Pup visitors are truly treated like family in our home. Yet not every pup parent is the same, so I adjust to your pups needs and your philosophy on canine parenting. Please ask me about discounts for long boarding stays(non-holidays) and recurring daycare visits. I look forward to meeting you! I have a multi-level townhouse. Our home is very pet friendly and pet safe. I am always at home supervising pups to ensure their safety. You can contact me anytime you like and I usually respond within a few minutes.
