I’m Julio and I love dogs! I’ve been working with pets for five years at PetSmart and various veterinary clinics and have learned so much about the care and well-being of our four-legged friends. As a Vet Technician, I have experience administering medicine to animals, measuring food so they have the right portion, and watching up to 18 dogs in the same room to make sure they are all well-behaved and playing nice. The thing I love most about dogs is their capabilities when trained and raised properly. They are useful for so much like saving lives, providing guidance for their human owners, the protection of their family, and of course, being lifelong companions. Becoming a pet sitter offers me a versatile position in which I can continue my passion for helping animals and their human partners. I can't imagine myself working a job I don't love, and I really love caring for animals. In addition to my experience with dogs, I have cared for cats, rabbits, parakeets, and more! I know how important your pup is to you, so my number one goal is to make sure that both you and your pup feel completely comfortable and well taken care of when they’re with me. I’ll always put your pup’s needs first, while making sure they are happy, healthy, and exercised! I like to keep them on the schedule that they’re on while they’re at home to make them feel comfortable but am always happy to improvise as well. For owners, you can count on regular updates with accompanying pictures to see just how much fun your pooch and I are having together! My goal is to reassure the pet parent by constantly being available via text or call during the stay. As a pet parent myself, I can understand completely how stressful it is to leave your pet in the care of someone other than you. But life happens, and sometimes you have to!
