Pet care experience
I love dogs! Small or large, I'm always ready to cuddle, play, scratch a back or go for a run in the Sandias. I've got years of experience caring for both human kiddos and pups of all ages and am happy to help a neighbor out! Sticking to a special diet or exercise regimen is no trouble, and I've always got an eye out for cactus or goat heads stuck in someone's paws. I recently moved from Taos to Burque to attend the University of New Mexico, where I study Latin American Studies and pre-law. I'm an avid skier, hiker, runner and dog/horse lover. I adore how funky, dog-friendly and relaxed my new city is and look forward to meeting more friendly faces - human and canine, of course! (I am fluent in English, Español, Portuguêse, Français, Kiswahili)

Best dog-sitter ever! Loving and affectionate but firm, I am sure she would be your perfect dog walker. I find Juliette to be reliable and responsible - she follows through on her commitments 100%. She has taken care of our dogs and cat and pets belonging to our friends including a very demanding bird! Juliette easily cared for our small (okay, I admit, somewhat diva-like) dogs but exuded the authority to manage much larger dogs belonging to our neighbors, even a pack of exuberant labs! When my friend Rachel's elderly dog was ill, Juliette was willing to care for him while Rachel was away including administering complicated medications, indoor clean-ups, and gentle walking. I would not trust my pets to just anyone but if Juliette still lived in this area she would be my top go-to for daily walking and overnight care. I totally recommend her services.
Juliette has walked and cared for my 70lb mastiff-pit mix numerous times over the last year. She is a natural dog lover with an affectionate and attentive way of relating to pups. I trust her implicitly with my baby and wholeheartedly recommend her as a walker and sitter. She is also very good with dogs who are not well socialized and excellent working with multiple dogs at the same time on walks and hikes. Juliette is also very conscientious about feeding and has helped teach me how to improve my dog’s diet and eating habits. Woof woof!

I like to know a dogs name, age, what they love, and what may make them nervous or uncomfortable so we can avoid that. I love dogs of all breeds, but prefer to hang out with active, healthy and high-energy types so we can go for a jog, wear each other out with a round of frisbee, and earn a nap. I've lived with heelers, retrievers, pitbulls, labs, chihuahuas, beagles, shepherds, poodles and more. Everyone is welcome!
A typical day
I will happily walk on city sidewalks, but prefer to drive out to a trailhead in the lower Sandias or, if we have time, even further out to a big wide open space so we can sneak in some off-leash runs (if allowed!) There's a city park near my home that's the perfect size for some stick throwing, but if the dog is up for it, I'm always game for a run. There are plenty of blankets, cushions, dog beds and even a dog-friendly couch at my house for afternoon snoozes.
