Pet care experience
I have loved and cared for pets my whole life. My first pet memory is on the floor with a litter of pups all over me. I’m older now and retired so I’m happy I found this opportunity. I’m home all day(and night) anyway so I’ll have something to keep me company and busy. I am adding to my profile now that I have some professional experience under my belt. My best memories of my pet keeping experiences are when my client comes to pick up their furbaby and say something like” OMG, he/ she is so relaxed! “ And it’s great because yes, they are so happy mom or dad is there to pick them up but there’s no trembling or upset. One of my favs is when the furbaby was so happy to see dad but she kept running back to me as if to say “ look look, it’s dad, come on let’s go home!!” She even threw herself at my feet and presented her tummy! I have to admit I was holding back tears as she drove away, and I’m so proud of me(lol)!! I tell anyone who will listen how much I love my job. I have a medium sized fenced yard so potty breaks are no problem. I prefer house pets because of the heat here and there is a large unused den in the house where a crated pet can have quiet time when needed.

She went above and beyond by even taking our dog on walks, despite the inclement weather. She is very kind and I don’t think our dog was ever alone. There were a lot of different people in the home, but they all seemed fine with having a dog around. We had a washable blanket to cover our dog’s bed to help with the smoke smell after we brought her back home. Our dog was safe during our trip, which is what we cared about the most. Thank you!
Juliet provided a caring stable environment for an anxious shy dog. Wonderful communication and regular updates. The dog has really bloomed in her care.
Juliet was amazing with my dogs! I dropped my two dogs off with her, and one tends to be harder to warm up to, but I came back and they were both seated cozy right by her! I could tell my dogs were well taken care of. Definitely recommended to book with Juliet!
She was a very sweet lady! Took good care of my fur baby, she kept us updated with pictures and even went the extra mile to take my dog for a walk. No complaints here!!

In my home I want your baby to feel at home. It’s just me and my granddaughters so they get almost undivided attention from me. I feel like I’m a gramma figure to them, I don’t have to scold or chastise or anything else. The one behavior I really don’t care for is barking and the worst I have had to do is a spray with plain water. Accidents in the house? I just protect what they have chosen to wet or whatever, if it’s solid I pick it up and put it back on a peepad so they get the message. Most do it the first day and they are so embarrassed how would I look scolding on top of it? Putting plastic down is no big deal. I have one antique table that is now permanently wrapped because I won’t do without my table and I refuse to get upset at the baby’s when they can’t help it because of nerves or loneliness! I love them, furniture is just a thing!!

I really like to know what their daily schedule is like so I can approximate it for them. It’s super important to me that these baby’s feel as comfortable as possible, they can get excitation at home where it’s safe for them. I prefer a quiet, calm scene so there’s no upsets. The last thing I want is to send one home with tear stains on their little face, it’s hard enough for them to be away from home. If they have a condition that requires a special diet or no people food please tell me because I’m bad! When I’m cooking it’s almost a reflex, when I take a taste I give them one so please tell me and thank you so much for sharing your baby with me!
A typical day
We will go for walks, sometimes to the park at the end of the block and if it’s a stay at home day we’ll go out at least every 3 or 4 hours for breaks. I live pretty quietly so there’s no chaos or upsets for hi-strung baby’s. A belly rub at bedtime, nap time and any other excuse will do. Treats for nothing and lots and lots of love.

Availability
caring for peoples furbabies is a much needed pick me up! I love them all Taking them out for walks is almost the highlight of my day. Some furbabys are serious about their walks too! One little guy , if he went potty real soon and I tried to head for home it was so so funny I mean the disgusted look on his face and his tail down just dejected! I would have to make it up to him the next walk and he would hold me to it. That’s another thing I love about them all, they could not hold a grudge or pout for more then a minute or two. All I need do is offer a belly rub and we are friends again.
