Hi, I'm Julie! I live in the Lakeview neighborhood of Chicago. I have been taking care of dogs and living with them since I was 6 years old! I have pet-sitting experience with dogs of all ages, personalities, temperaments, energy-levels, and sizes. I also have experience with cat care and special needs pets. My dogs have been through obedience training and have completed the AKC's Canine Good Citizen program. I currently have 2 yellow Labrador mixes, ages 4 and 5, who live at my parent's house. I am trust-worthy, loving, outdoorsy, and enthusiastic about animals. I stick to my word, and am driven by my compassionate values. Julie was absolutely fantastic. She was available on super short notice and took great care of my lab Tyson. She is extremely reliable and provided me with daily updates and pictures. Not one second did I feel worried about leaving my dog and apartment in Julie’s hands. My place was spotless when I returned and more importantly, Tyson was happy, healthy and well taken care of. I highly recommend Julie and can’t thank her enough.

Julie has taken care of my cat Shadow on multiple occasions and has consistently given him top notch care. He's an older cat (12 years) and has bladder condition that requires him to eat half a cup of food a day and along with a dose of Cosequin - otherwise his urinary tract becomes inflamed and uncomfortable. Julie has never neglected this part of his routine and is always happy and healthy when returned to me!! Julie gives me constant updates when I'm away and has always left my house in pristine condition. I know Shadow and my apartment are in good hands when I leave Julie in charge!
