Pet care experience
Hello, Thanks for reading my profile. I live in the Carson Valley with my family. Rover.com is an expansion of my dog sitting/house sitting experiences. Supporting your needs and caring for your pets is my greatest reward. My first dog/house sitting was 6 years ago for friends and just through word of mouth it grew to over a dozen friends and their pets. I regularly dog sit in the South Reno area, and I am hoping to build a client base here in Gardnerville and Minden. My references will attest to my ability to care for their pets & home. I am flexible and agreeable to each client's needs. I have taken two Pet CPR and first aid certification classes, and I have enjoyed being a volunteer for a local animal shelter. These experiences have helped me learn how to offer compassion to all animals. My latest learning pursuit is dog training through CATCH Canine Trainers Academy. So happy we had Sherlock stay with Julie during our trip to South Lake Tahoe! She was very responsive even before the stay started about his care and gave very regular updates and pictures during his stay :) He was very happy when I picked him up but also wanted to give an excited good bye snuggle to Julie - will definitely plan to have Sherlock stay again if possible :)
Julie is wonderful!! My normally shy laid-back dog goes crazy every time she sees her. She is always taking her out to nearby lakes and hikes!
Julie is AMAZING. She has been taking care of my fur babies for years and my dogs absolutely love her. She is reliable, honest and trustworthy. She is very easy to work with and communicative. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
