Admiring animals- grew up with them

Pet care experience

I grew up with dogs and cats and a guinea pig and also got my own ponies when i became 12. I was fully responsible for feeding them and caring for them from the beginning and loved them so much. I currently don’t have a pet but love to be around them. In the pictures you can see me with our dog when I was a baby. And with my guinea pig when I was 6 years old.

I would give Julie 6 stars out of 5 if I could. I don’t know that I could have had a better first experience on Rover. Julie is an excellent communicator and will take good care of your pet. She provided frequent video and photo updates (the BEST) of my Gus while I was out of town for a week. Julie took such good care of Gus that she helped him relearn how to take walks: he no longer pulls on the leash! If you want an experienced, professional caretaker, Julie is one of the best. We are so grateful to have met her and would eagerly book her again.

I’ve been using Rover in Birmingham for years, and trust me when I say this: PLEASE book Julie! Her & her husband are the most trustworthy/kind sitters I could’ve asked for! Great communication & the cutest update photos! My flight landed late and Julie was very accommodating and patient with any changes. I’ll always book if she’s available!

My husband and I are living in a very big 3 beds appartment and can easily designate a room for a dog (we don’t have a crate though). We live very close to a park where we could go by foot. I’d be open to take your dog for a hike in red mountain if you’d be ok with that - I just love spending time with dogs and animals (also horses ;)) so much! I’d also take him or her with me to a coffee chop in case I need a change of environment for productivity flow - if you’re ok with that of course!

Let me know what character your dog has, what he likes, if he has special needs, if he’s trained a certain way. I’ll make sure I keep up your training.

A typical day

I love to stimulate your dog physically and mentally. We can experience new smells around the neighborhood and our nearby park or go on a hike together.
