Hi, my name is Julie! I have been caring for animals my entire life and am a lifelong pet lover of all shapes and sizes. I am an active person and enjoy going on walks and doing other activities with pets. Over the years, I have watched the pets of friends, family, and other clients that have heard of me through word of mouth. I have watched pets for short weekend trips to month long vacations, and I’ve been a favorite and trusted choice for taking care of everyone’s furry companions. I’ve taken care of puppies to senior dogs and tiny terries to great danes. I even do drop-in visits for cats and other animals you may have. I believe that pets are part of the family. My personal pets are treated with the same amount of love, care, and attention as any other family member; your pet will be treated just the same! I live in a house with a large, securely fenced in back yard. I live with my mother-in-law who is a veterinarian, and, because of this, the entire house is “puppy proof” and safe for any animals that stay here. I know how important it is to know that your pet is in a safe, happy environment while you are away. That’s why when your pet stays with me, they will receive around-the-clock attention and extra love to make them as comfortable as possible. Since I’m home with them all day, there will be plenty of play time. I have a dog, Gwen, who loves dogs (both big and small), so your pet will receive lots of socialization with her and any other dogs that are here during their stay. I will regularly send you photos and updates during their stay to assure you that they are having a great time, and I’ll gladly answer any texts or phone calls from you while you’re away.
