*** I live in Arnold, MD but I am frequently available to walk and petsit in many parts of Baltimore - please contact me for details *** I have been a veterinary technician for ten years, working for both primary and specialty practices - including cardiology, surgery, dentistry, oncology, and emergency. I am leaving the field of veterinary medicine in order to pursue graduate school for public health and social work, but I'd like to maintain a connection to animals through petsitting and dog walking. I've worked for a veterinary cardiology practice for seven years, so my specialty is cardiology - I know what to look for if your pet has a preexisting cardiac condition. I know how to administer medications, how to coax a picky dog to eat, and I know when it's time to contact the vet. As a student, my schedule is variable during the week: Mon: 9-12 Tues: 9-5 Wed: 2-9 Thurs: 9-5 Fri: 9-12 I am available for walks, medication administration, drop-in visits/potty breaks, and petsitting outside of these hours (i.e. unfortunately, I cannot be home full-time during the week; however, I can guarantee that I will not be out during the evenings if I am petsitting for you).
