I treasure the role that dogs and cats have in our lives and want to help make those incidental responsibilities a little easier for you! I recently moved to New York and I greatly miss the family dog and cats that I grew up with. I am very active and love going on walks with dogs and caring for them. I will give them all the love and attention that they need! Luckily, my apartment has a very big living room and bedrooms, which means your dog will be very comfortable if it is staying with me. I'm also just a few blocks from several large, dog-friendly parks. In addition, your dog will be getting attention and love from my 2 roommates who are big animal lovers too! I am also willing to travel within reasonable distance for walks, visits or a homestay. I will be sure to keep you updated and send pictures! :) As well, I have experience with senior dogs who have debilitating conditions such as cancer or hip dysplasia, and I am comfortable administering medication to them. I know how to be extremely gentle with them while staying vigilant of any special limitations that they may have. Furthermore, I grew up with numerous cats, some of which had serious conditions, such as having only 3 limbs and almost full blindness. I know how to care for cats with numerous health issues, and I am comfortable administering medicine to them. I have experience volunteering with PAWS and fostering cats, many of which required medicine and special love and care to be nursed back to health.
