Dogs are my people.
Pet care experience
We are a happy and loving home with 20+ years experience caring for doggos. Every dog deserves love, attention and cuddles. We just want dogs to feel happy while their owners are away. We walk them frequently and love outdoor activities with them. We’re also not against them doing their thing and let them hang on furniture, we really let the dog dictate what is best for them. I will send constant update pics too and welcome questions and check-ins. We live in a carriage house in South Norwalk that has a big yard in front. We have an extremely friendly rescue mut who LOVES other dogs and to play, and a 5 year old daughter who also is very gentle and great with dogs.
Reviews
Julie and family were warm and kind and took very good care of our dog. I would 100% bring my dog to her again
Fantastic! Julie was responsive, gave great updates, and clearly cared for Little Dog. She also sent some great pictures! I will definitely be reaching back out to her and highly recommend her.
Julie is great, accommodating and great at responding and sharing pictures. Wyatt (Greyhound) seemed to enjoy his stay at their place.
When you are away, the most important thing is to feel that you have left your dog in a safe environment with people you trust will care for her/him as if it was their own dog. I definitely felt that with Julie and her family

Safety, trust & environment
I let the doggies run around and play, I have a yard in the front of my building and I give them lots of scratches and cuddles. I don’t care about them sleeping on furniture, that’s fine. When it comes time to eat, I’ll put my dog in her crate to give your dog some space and it’s never been an issue.

Information Julie O. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know what their demeanor is and how I can best make them feel comfortable. Any little neurosis they have would be beneficial to know. Also food preferences.
A typical day
Walk at least 4 times a day, hiking on the weekends, walk around all the parks in Norwalk, dog park (if appropriate for the dog), fetch, snuggles, belly rubs, and dance parties. I've been known to be the big spoon when we sleep, but open to being little spoon too.

Availability
I work during the week 11am-5pm at an office, and can walk your dog in the morning and several times after work. I usually like to bring them to the big dog park after work at calf pasture! On the weekends, we often go for hikes or go to the dog parks. It’ll be like camp for your dog.
