My home is very pet friendly, we love being able to have pets come visit and we treat them like family! I have a large partially fenced in backyard with a long (100’) lead if you have a little escape artist! My son and daughter have been raised around dogs their whole lives and they are always thrilled when they have a new furry friend around. We focus on respecting animals and their personal space as well as teaching about animal body language, I trained dogs for a bit so I am trying to pass that information along to my children: I do not allow them to climb, pinch, pull, get in their faces etc. however they are still rambunctious children so PLEASE do not book me if your dog doesn’t get along with children! We have three cats as well that are half indoor/half outdoor cats and will leave your dog alone, there are two lazy adult females who would rather be sleeping and one who is so scared of dogs and would much rather be outside running free anyway! We are a very active family, we love to go to the park and on hikes, camping, swimming, anything outdoors so as long as weather permits your pup will have adventures and tons of fun! My children also work on a local farm which teaches social skills through farm work and learning animal care and behavior so we are well versed in giving all animals the love and respect they deserve! Providing joy to the animals and humans I care for is truly my passion.
