I am home full-time and have several wonderful animals in my family. I have experience with special needs dogs and medicines such as pilling both dogs and cats and administering eye drops. I'm not squeamish about shots either. Whether it's a drop-in visit or dog walking, you and your pup (or cat!) will be satisfied. I have dog training experience so I can even work on pulling issues during walks. Playtime or dinner time at your house will be fun for your pup. I am able to work with dogs and cats of all sizes and ages and can adjust play to your pet. I hope you will consider me for you dog walker or in-home care taker. I will do my best to provide the best service possible and I will treat your pet as if he or she were one of my own.

Julie has taken care of my pets for years. This includes three dogs and a cat. One of the dogs is medically fragile and requires medication to be given at precise times and amounts. There has never been an issue with her not doing it correctly. All of the animals love her! I trust her completely with my fur children. I have known Julie for 6 years, and in that time I have seen her with all types of dogs, both her own and other people. She taught her own dog how to do a trick with her paw, giving a high five. That to me is amazing. I have also seen her care for a wheelchair bound dog, that her and her husband own, and they love him, just as much as the others. If I was a dog I would want Julie to be my human mommy. She loves all animals with all her heart. Not only love that she has for her fur babies she is knowledgeable in doggie health issues and training. She is the only person that I trust my dogs with. For sitting you pets in your home, I will follow your directions strictly. I will do my utmost to keep your pets' routines the same as when you are home so they experience less stress. For drop-in visits, I offer a short walk or play time in your fenced in back yard. I can refill food and water bowls as well as administer most medications if they are needed. For walks, I prefer to use routes that have a side walk for safety. Please warn me of any challenges your dog has such as excessive pulling or aggression to other animals so that I can be more prepared to keep everyone safe in these situations.

I would like to know what your dog likes to do for play and if they are strong pullers on walks. Also for dog walking I would like to know what kind of leash you use for medium sized dogs and larger. I prefer not to use extendable leashes on those larger dogs as they are more prone to breaking, but I will always do as you request. I would also love to know if your dog is reactive to any other animals while walking so that I can be prepared to deal with or avoid potentially dangerous encounters.
A typical day
We will go on walks around your own neighborhood unless you request a different area nearby. Playtime will be catered to your dog's energy level and interests. I do not take dogs to dog parks.
