I am a local therapist with a graduate certificate in Animal-Assisted Therapy, which includes education on humane animal care, animal behavior, and training. I also trained one of my own dogs as Therapy Dog (through Pet Partners) to work with me. In my free time I am a dog lover! While in graduate school I worked as a pet-sitter, now I just do it because I love it. We have also fostered many dogs in our homes over the years, from a litter of puppies to seniors. We have a fenced in yard, and a quiet neighborhood to take walks in. My priority is for your dog to be as comfortable and happy as possible! FAQ: Why are your prices so high? You get what you pay for. If your baby stays with us, they will get individual, loving care and attention, just as you would provide it. Skeptical? What makes you different from other pet care providers? -We are open to unlimited instructions (including specific medication needs, bedtime routines, etc.) -unlimited texting during your pets stay with us -pictures! I love taking great photos and make an effort to do so! -flexible drop off and pick up times - I work from home, so someone is always around. - will work on training if desired - my husband and I are both master's level professionals, you can be confident that you are leaving your pet with competent, intelligent, responsible, and trustworthy people. So, if you and your husband are both highly educated and both work, why do you pet sit? We know how overwhelming and stressful it is to find someone you trust to watch your dog when you are busy or out of town. We won't leave our dog with anyone unless we absolutely have to, and that is the worst part of vacation for us! We know there is a need for competent pet care, and we are happy to provide it and build relationships along the way.
