Loving Care for Good and Bad Pooche

Pet care experience

I am an experienced groomer and am willing to work with your dog whether they are sweet and obedient or angry and stubborn. Young, old, tiny, and giant, I'll give them all of the attention and care you're looking to be provided for your pooch. We can go on car rides, visits to the park, or even on hikes depending on your dog's wishes and needs. I spend one on one time with each dog (unless otherwise specified) so you and your dog don't have to stress about other dogs. I have also spent a lot of my time with elderly injured, and ill dogs, can administer oral medication and insulin, and am willing to follow any other routines at home for the health or safety of your dog.

Information Julie K. would like to know about your pet

All breeds and sizes are welcome. If administering medication, your vet's information must be supplied. Dogs are expected to be friendly with other dogs as well as humans if brought to doggy daycare. If your dog has a fear of unknown humans known as "stranger danger", but is okay with other dogs, after becoming fully comfortable with me they are welcome. Breeds known for aggression and/or fear of humans and other dogs which include but are not limited to: Akita, Doberman Pincher, Pitbull/Staffordshire Terrier (and other bully breeds), Rottweiler, German Shepherd, Cane Corso, Chow Chow, and Dogo Arginteno are very much loved and welcome, as long as their temperament is acceptable. It is expected for all dog owners to spend some time on location the first day until the dog is proven to be a good fit. No dog will be rejected for size or breed.

A typical day

Walks will be given daily to dogs who need or enjoy the exercise, but it is not required for any dog to exert themselves physically. My neighborhood is a perfect place for walks. It is quiet and the roads are interconnected so there's always a quick route back home and a long way back home. During the summer a doggy pool is set up and kept clean. It isn't swimming depth, but is a good place for a hot dog to still enjoy the outdoors. Balls and other toys are always encouraged to be played with outside. Inside play is also welcome as long as we're not disturbing any dogs who wish to relax or sleep or just be left alone. They are free to lounge around outside in the yard or inside the house (always with heat on cold days and A/C on warm days). No dog will be denied play time or cuddling. Visits to the park, beach, lake or woods is something that happens either when I am one-on-one with the dog or the right group of dogs are together. If we take any trips it will be talked about in full and will only happen with your written consent - so you never have to worry about your dog being anywhere except inside the house or out in the back yard. And a call and/or text will be given going over the details again and letting you know when we leave and return to the house.
