Pet care experience
Having had 4 dogs of my own, I have ample experience in caring for dogs of all ages--very young to very old, through sickness, injuries, surgeries, special diets, syringe feeding, administering medications etc. Extreme patience and understanding for all dogs and their individual personalities is key to properly taking care of them.

My dog had a great time. She is shy around humans and she seemed to really feel comfortable with them and loved playing with their youngest pup!!! She hardly wanted to come home! Will definitely use them again!
Julie, her family & her pups are wonderful!! They treated my dog Cookie like their own. Cookie stayed with Julie twice and I knew she was excited to see them again when she got out of the car and ran right to door! Her dogs are sweethearts & Cookie loved playing with them. Julie gave me updates & sent pictures, which I so appreciate. I felt comfortable having Cookie stay with Julie from our first meeting. You can truly tell she loves dogs!! Thank you Julie 🐶❤️
Julie was so wonderful with our doodle. We did a meet and greet a few days before her schedule drop-in to make sure we both were comfortable and everything went very well. Julie was very responsive and gave us updates/pictures throughout her visit. This was our first time using Rover and we had an amazing first experience and can’t wait to book Julie in the future! So thankful that Julie goes above and beyond to give the same kind of love to our doodle that we do! ?

I have a large yard (2 acres) with a partially fenced-in area. I also have two large crates that can be used if necessary. I have two playful doodles to keep another dog company. We also have a 14+ year old doodle who is the most calm, chill dog ever! At her age, she spends most of her day resting in her favorite spot while the other two keep each active. We allow our pets on the furniture and they sleep in our bedroom with us which we would allow another dog to do as well. I am able to take a dog to their specific vet or groomer if necessary and if emergency medical attention is needed, I would take the dog to wherever the owner prefers. My personal preference is SHORES ER in Harrisburg as they have been remarkable in caring for any of my dogs that have needed immediate attention. We also have ample portable gates that we can position in our home to block off stairs, rooms etc. as needed to ensure the safety of the dog.

I would simply need to know if they are in need of medication and the best way to administer it. For example, two of my own dogs require pills in the morning and they are eager to take them with cream cheese. I am able to do whatever method necessary to administer medication and even hand feed a dog if necessary. I will also require proof of current vaccinations which can be obtained easily from a vet's office.
A typical day
I live on 2 acres in a nice spacious neighborhood with a great area to go for walks. Part of our yard is fenced in if a dog needs to be confined. We can play fetch or any other activity that a dog enjoys, several times a day in addition to going on walks. Will do whatever is recommended by the owner to keep their dog active and comfortable.
