I eventually made it into a hobby! As a pet sitter, I've worked with multiple types of breeds, ages, & personalities. Any pet of yours is a friend of mine! For walks, I can give your dog whatever level of exercise you prefer. For house-sitting, I believe in leaving your residence the same or cleaner than you left it & making sure your mind is at ease while you're away. No pet-care situation is too complicated for me to handle; my top priority is making sure your furry loved ones are happy. My husband, Aaron Jared (see cover photo) helps a lot, too, with owner approval; he is a dog/cat whisperer and loves animals. We make the perfect petcare team! My work schedule varies from day to day, but I always know what it’ll be up to two weeks ahead of time, so we’ll be able to work out if I’m a right fit for what you need without trouble. I always make sure to go over all details with the owner before starting any services, so they can rest assured their pet(s) and home will feel as if things are running smoothly as usual.

We hired Julie to house sit our two dogs for a week while we got married in Florida. She and her husband were wonderful, they took our dogs on long walks every day, sent photos and gave daily updates. It was such a relief to not worry about how the dogs were doing. One was a puppy and it was great for our puppy to be able to stay at home and not a scary boarding place, she had some separation anxiety! Julie was awesome and I will definitely use her again if we need a dog sitter, she is very compassionate and loves dogs and animals. Highly recommend!!

I pride myself in making sure everything feels the same as you left it, including the physical/emotional equilibrium of your beloved pet. I want to make sure you don’t have to worry about anything while you’re gone and that your pet has consistent routine and affection; no stress!

I have no breed preferences. All doggies are lovable; never met one I didn’t like! I'd just need to know everything necessary for providing an optimum environment for the dog.
A typical day
I'd like to make the pet feel as comfortable as possible, which means following the regular routine of the owner. If the owner would like me to do anything special outside of that, I am happy to accommodate (i.e. trips to park, extra walks, etc). If the dog is high energy, I'd love to take him/her on runs around the neighborhood. Dogs make the best running buddies!

During the school year, I can provide morning and evening walks, and quick drop-ins at lunch time. The goal is to make the routine as similar to the owner as possible so the pet is comfortable.
