I am a 40 year old wife, mom, and dog mom. My two dogs are Daisy, a spunky 10 pound 14 year old Cairn Terrier with a lot of attitude, and Wrathbert, a large 95 pound boxer mix who has finally calmed down at the age of 7. I walk them regularly. I have experience with older dogs. My Staffordshire lived to the age of 18. I have a 16 year old daughter who is able to assist me on walks or with visits and house sitting. We are both currently looking into pet first aid and cpr classes. I am used to giving oral medication. Daisy takes fish oil and aspirin daily to prevent strokes.
