This was my first time using Rover. After meeting Julie and her family, I felt very comfortable leaving my dog (lab) with them. It's very obvious that the entire family (kids too!) loves dogs. The layout of the house makes it easy for them to keep an eye on the dogs whether they are in or out! Julie sent pictures and updates twice daily so that I knew everything was going well. I will definitely ...
We had a last minute change in plans and Julie was able to help us out and take our very energetic dog for the day and night! It's so nice to be able to drop him off and know he's happy and be taken care of so well! We are so lucky we met Julie & family through rover!
Dog Loving Happy Home!
My husband and I have five great boys and a wonderful dog, Lacy (from Hanover Shelter - a lab mix). We live in a quiet neighborhood with a HUGE fully-fenced backyard. Our boys just love their Lacy however, she would rather play with other dogs and just cuddle with our boys.
I am a stay at home Mom and my husband also mostly works from home. We are interested in welcoming dogs into our home. However ...
What Julie would like to know about your dog
We do require you to bring your dog over to our house to meet Lacy and our boys prior to us sitting for your dog. It is also very important to us that your dog be neutered/spayed and up to date with heartguard and flea/tick treatments. As we take care of your dog, we also want to make sure to take care of our family and home. We are not able to accept dogs that have accidents in the house or dogs that do not get along with children or other dogs.
Additionally, please let us know if your dog chews or has any known anxiety issues. With us knowing beforehand any concerns, we are able to be proactive in working with your dog.
