I have personal and professional experience caring for both dogs and cats. I understand the necessity of routine and the importance of regular, reliable care. As the owner of a Jack Russell terrier with some health issues, I know how important it is to exercise dogs regularly, feed them at the times they expect, and give them their medicine (if needed) in a timely manner. As the owner of Persian cats, I am comfortable with the grooming needs of a high maintenance breed. Caring for both dogs and cats, I know they each have unique needs. Professionally, I house sat for a dog in with separation anxiety for several weeks and adapted to her schedule. I woke up at 4:30am so she could get a lengthy walk in the morning and would keep her routine the same as her owners, so that she could stay happy and healthy. Please note that I teach full time from 8am-3pm during the week, so I am not available for drop-in visits during those hours on weekdays. I can come before school or after school during the week (and of course am open weekends and in the summer months), though, and will treat your pet like my own!
