-Within my lifetime I have walked/sit dogs of all sizes. Of course with a job like this I am very aware that I am walking a dog that is full of energy that needs to be burned. Therefore I not only walk the dog but I run with them (for higher energy breeds). I do intervals which consist of sprints then cool down and repeat. As I do this I make sure the dog is doing okay and is not showing any signs of sickness. Most dogs love it when I run with them and they are always tried at the end of our trip. -Most of the time I stay a little past the 30 minute mark. I am never ready to leave when the 30 minute mark is up (for walks). I make sure your furry four legged friend is settled in and safe before I leave. Making sure he has water and anything else in need. -When it comes to visits while the owner is away I am very responsible, I do not touch any of their personal belongings nor do I use the kitchen for personal reasons (Only for dogs). Things are left the way it is as I walk into the premises and when I walk out. -While I am on a walk/run I am very aware and alert of my surroundings. (Especially if the dog I am walking is not dog friendly or people friendly) -My number one concern is the dogs safety and overall health and happiness. -I understand dog behaviors : when their scared, happy or aggressive. -I put the dogs need before mine. -I have a big passion for helping animals. I maintain great communications with my client, usual response time is within a minute. I also keep my clients up to date with what their dog is doing and send a progress picture.
